WeCAN Coat Drive Begins October 2

As you begin to prepare your wardrobe for upcoming cooler weather, please consider saving your like new winter coats and snow pants for WeCAN’s annual Coat Drive. Collection boxes will be located throughout the community from Oct. 2 - 17. Coat distribution will be held at WeCAN on Oct. 24 from 1 to 6 p.m. and on Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Drop off all sizes of coats, snow pants, boots, glove, mittens, hats and scarves at the following locations: Christ Lutheran Church (Maple Plain), Gillespie Center, Good Shepherd Church, Grandview Middle School, Hilltop Primary School, Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Orono Discovery Center, Our Lady of the Lake, Shirley Hills Primary School, St. John’s Lutheran Church, St. Martin’s Church and the Westonka Early Childhood Centers. Items will also be collected at the WeCAN office, 5213 Shoreline Drive in Mound.
