$1.2M In Upgrades Approved For Lawshe Museum: Report
The funds will go towards ADA upgrades for the museum.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— The Dakota County Board of Commissioners approved $1.2 million in upgrades to the Lawshe Memorial Museum, The Pioneer Press reported.
According to The Pioneer Press, $900,000 of these funds will be used for accessibility requirements:
- Handicapped parking
- Signage changes on the outside of the building
- Elevator changes
- Upgrades to restrooms
- Building of two ADA restrooms on the building's main level.
According to The Pioneer Press, the remaining $300,000 will be used for improvements in the areas impacted by the construction of the restrooms.
