
People interested in serving on the Parks and Trails Legacy Committee are reminded that applications are due by Dec. 7.
The Legacy Advisory Committee will promote and coordinate implementation of the 25-Year Parks and Trails Legacy Plan. The plan is at www.legacy.leg.mn/funds/parks-trails-fund/plan.
The committee will have 15-17 members, including geographical and demographical representation to the practical extent possible. The committee will be a mixture of parks and trails professionals and citizens. Committee members should have expertise in two or more of the four strategic pillars of the plan:
· Connect people and the outdoors.
· Acquire land and create opportunities.

· Work better together.

Terms will be staggered. Initial terms will be for two to three years. The frequency of meetings will be determined once the committee has formed. The commitment is for two to six meetings per year.
