Brief: St. Thomas Academy to Name Cadet Colonel

St. Thomas Academy will choose their cadet colonel Wednesday afternoon in a formal ceremony.

The cadet colonel is a position unique to junior ROTC schools. Cadet colonels oversee discipline and events through to graduation, according to the school.

The cadet colonel to receive the Fleming Saber will be chosen from among the 20 senior captains by a panel made of the commandant of cadets, the assistant headmaster, the dean of students, the dean of academics, a faculty representative and a student-selected faculty representative.
