Closure Scheduled For Concord Street In South St. Paul
The closure is a part of a larger project on I-494.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Motorists traveling on Highway 156 (Concord Street) in South St. Paul will encounter a full closure between Richmond Street and Villaume Avenue for approximately 16 hours on Monday, Sept. 10.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, crews will close Concord Street between Richmond Street and Villaume Avenue as crews begin working on the I-494 bridge over the road. Motorists should follow the signed detour using Villaume Avenue, Richmond Street and Hardman Avenue to bypass the closure.
Concord Street is expected to reopen to a single lane in each direction late Monday evening, Sept. 10 and remain that way through the spring of 2019.

This road and lane closure is a part of a larger project on I-494 where crews will widen, resurface and replace bridge joints on the Highway 156 bridge, construct auxiliary lanes on westbound I-494 between Hardman Ave. to west of 5th Ave., improve drainage and construct noise walls.
