Demolition Begins at Lilydale Tennis Club

Demolition of the began Monday morning. Taking down the building and doing some site preparation is estimated to take two months.

Developers Lance Lemieux of Southview Senior Living and John Wall of Highland Bank submitted a last week to the Lilydale Planning Commission for a senior living building and an upscale apartment building to be built on the site.

Under the proposed schedule, the senior living building will be erected first, with construction starting early this fall.
