Demolition Of Marie Park Playground To Begin Early: April 12

Due to an unusually warm spring, the demolition and redesign of the park will begin earlier than the city expected.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— Demolition and redesign of the Marie Park playground will begin on April 12, the city of Mendota Heights said.

The project will be underway much earlier than expected due to an uncharacteristically warm Minnesota spring, the city said.

The demolition process will take about three or four weeks to complete, the city said.

The project was originally expected to be done by June, but will now be finished earlier because of the early start date.
