District 197 School Board Agenda for Jan. 3

The is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Jan. 3 at  in room A-241. 

The board will begin interviewing five consultants to execute the superintendent search at 5 p.m. The board is scheduled to select which firm to hire for the search at the regular meeting to follow.

The regular meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with an oath of office for the four school board members elected in November. 

Included on the regular agenda:

• The chair, clerk and treasurer of the board will be elected.
• Craig Roble, social studies teacher at Heritage E-STEM Magnet, and Linda Zurn, family and consumer science (FACS) at Henry Sibley High School, will be recognized for their awards in the TIES Exceptional Teacher program.
• The Association of Metropolitan School Districts will be presenting their legislative agenda.
