Here's How To Stay Cool This Weekend In Mendota Heights

This weekend will bring temperatures in the mid-90s. Here are some places you and your family can stay cool.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— This upcoming weekend is set to be the hottest so far this year, with highs in the mid-90s, according to National Weather Service's forecast. Does your family have a plan to stay cool?

Here is a list of places that will help you stay cool this weekend:

  • Harmon Park in West Saint Paul: Harmon Park has a splash pad, which is great for families with kids. The splash pad is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
  • Cedarcrest Park in Bloomington: This park also has a splash pad, open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
  • Portions of Como Regional Park Pool: If you're willing to drive to Saint Paul, this park's Phalen Beach and Highland Park Aquatic Center will open this weekend due to high temperatures, and the splash pads will be open as well. The rest of the park will open June 12.
  • Carver Lake Park: This park has a beach that is perfect for swimming, and is open form 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. There is not a lifeguard on duty.
