Both directions of I-94 will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, April 6. One additional weekend closure of this stretch of I-94 is planned for later this year to allow for removal of the west side of the bridge.

Dale Street – including the bridge over I-94 – will remain open. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction, according to a news release.

The Dale Street reconstruction project began in mid-March and includes rebuilding and widening the bridge over Interstate 94 – including widening the sidewalks to 16 feet to improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists. Construction of the new bridge is expected to be complete by late fall 2020.
