Man Killed In West Saint Paul Shooting: Police
The shooting, which police say was targeted, occurred Wednesday night at Thompson County Park.
WEST SAINT PAUL, MN — A man was killed in a shooting in West Saint Paul Wednesday night.
West Saint Paul's Police Department responded to reports of a shooting just before 9 p.m. Wednesday night at Thompson County Park.
When officers got to the park, they found a man with gunshot wounds, police said.

The man was brought to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The department is calling this a "targeted shooting" and said that it is investigating the incident with Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the South St. Paul Police Department.

Officials do not believe that this incident is an immediate threat to the public, police said.
