MENDOTA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

2013 – 2014 Supply List for SECOND GRADE

2 wide-Lined composition notebooks (any design or color)

1 3-ring DURABLE binder (ring size 1 – 1 1/2”)

3 wide-Lined spiral notebooks (red, blue, green)

1 enclosed pencil sharpener (Exacto or Fiskars)

12 sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga or Papermate) (write initials on each pencil near eraser)

1 scissors (Fiskars)

1 12” ruler

2 large glue sticks

2 bottles Elmer’s white glue

1 24 pack Crayola colored pencils (write initials on each pencil)

1 24 pack Crayola Crayons (write initials on each crayon)

2 black Flair markers - no “Sharpies”

1 box Crayola markers, 8 or 10ct wide or narrow (write initials on each marker)

Expo dry erase markers (small package – narrow tip for printing practice)

Sock for erasing white board

1 highlighter (yellow or pink)

1 set of watercolor paints, 8 ct. (Prang or Crayola)

3 Zipper pouches (for colored pencils, crayons, markers)

3 plain folders with pockets (one each of red, blue, green)

1 fun folder with pockets

Small, inexpensive headphones or earbuds

School bag/back pack (no wheels)

1 school box

Gym shoes with heels and toes (no black soles)

Please contribute two of the following items for class use:

Box of Kleenex, Clorox wipes, box of gallon size Ziploc Freezer bags

Pump bottle of antibacterial hand soap
