Mendota Heights Developer Building Apartment Complex In Wisconsin
The $22 million project would demolish an auto repair shop and replace it with a building that would house 79 apartments.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN—A developing company from Mendota Heights has proposed a multi-use project to be built in Madison, Wisconsin, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.
The $22 million project, proposed by MSP Real Estate, would demolish Don the Car Care Man auto repair shop and replace it with a building that would offer 79 apartments, 759 square feet of commercial space, and an underground parking garage for 79 cars and 87 bicycles, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.
“While Madison has had great success in securing affordable housing developments, this near west area of the city has not seen any recent affordable housing developments,” MSP vice president of development Mark Hammond told the Wisconsin State Journal. “This will be a mix of affordable housing and market rate housing, so it will truly appeal to a broad base of Madisonians.”
