Mendota Heights School Reports New Coronavirus Outbreak
In all, three schools in Dakota County reported new outbreaks.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— A private middle and high school in Mendota Heights has reported a new outbreak of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday.
St. Thomas Academy reported five or more cases of COVID-19 the department said.
In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said.
Two other schools in Dakota County, East Lake Elementary School and Holy Trinity, were also on the list, the department said.
