Mendota Heights Woman Killed In 4-Vehicle Crash In Minneapolis
The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. Thursday on Highway 62 near Portland Avenue.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— A woman from Mendota Heights died in a four-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Minneapolis, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The woman was identified as Alice Jane Tibbetts, 23, officials said.
Three other drivers walked away from the crash with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

The first car, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, was traveling eastbound on Highway 62 near Portland Avenue when it was rear-ended by a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Tibbetts.
The Equinox tried to pull over onto the shoulder when the Honda was rear-ended by a 2014 Ford F-150 truck, officials said. As the Equinox tried to move out of the way of the truck, it was hit by a fourth car, a 2014 Kia Optima.
