Minnesota Weather: Rain On Christmas, Chance Of Snow This Weekend
Here's the 2019 Christmas week forecast for Minnesota.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Christmas Day will feature less-than normal Christmas Day weather, at least for Minnesota. There will be some rain and fog, with a high near 39. "Mixed precipitation is possible Christmas Day into Thursday. Patchy freezing drizzle and some fog is possible from parts of central MN into western WI Christmas Morning," says the National Weather Service.
"The freezing drizzle will transition to light snow by Thursday afternoon over central MN with some light accumulation possible."
Our forecast highs of 40°F for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day at MSP would be 15°F over normal. This would tie for the 10th warmest Dec 24-25 average high at MSP. Odd. Know what else I was told is odd to have more than 15 of? Apparently, it's pieces of pie at Christmas dinner.
