MnDOT To Host Meeting On Highway 52 Improvements

Approximately 16 miles of the southbound lanes of Highway 52 will be reconstructed.

CANNON FALLS, MN — The public is invited to attend an open house at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at the Urland Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls to learn about improvements on southbound Highway 52.

The two-year construction project is scheduled to start in spring 2021, and the project will include replacement of the bridges in Zumbrota at Highway 52, Highway 60 (west) and Highway 60 (east).

It may potentially include intersection improvements at Highway 57-Goodhue County Road 8 in Hader.

Additional safety and access management measures will be investigated during the upcoming design phase, according to a news release.

MnDOT staff are interested in sharing the details of the project with area motorists and residents. The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more about the planned work, ask questions and learn how to stay connected.
