National Pizza Day 2018: Deals, Free Slices In Minnesota

Any day is great day for pizza, but today is especially ideal. Why? It's National Pizza Day, of course. To help pizza-lovers celebrate the unofficial holiday, Patch has created a list of top-ranked Twin Cities pizza shops, plus deals being offered at various chains in Minnesota.

Here are some of the most popular pizza places in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area:

• Mama’s Pizza, Saint Paul

And here are the National Pizza Day deals:

• Domino's: At Domino's, you can choose two or more items from a specific menu for $5.99 each. You can also order a handmade pan pizza for $8.99.
• Pizza Hut: Pizza Hut's current deals include two medium two-topping pizzas for $5.99 each. You can also get an online only deal for a two-topping large pizza for $7.99.
• Chuck E Cheese's: Chuck E Cheese's offers a number of deals and coupons for pizza. You can find them on the Chuck E. Cheese's website for your location.
• Papa John's: Papa John's has a number of specials, including a carryout special for a three-topping pizza for $8.99. You can enter your delivery address to see what specials are being offered near you. According to Offers.com, with the code "25OFF" you can get 25 percent off regular priced menu items.
• Little Caesar's: At Little Caesar's you can get extra cheese and pepperoni for just an $1 and upgrade to the "extra most bestest" pizza.
• Papa Murphy's: Get $2 off any large pizza or $3 off any family size pizza when you order online at Papa Murphy's.
• Baskin-Robbins: Get a free sample of Baskin-Robbin's "Sweetheart Polar Pizza" from 3-7 p.m. at participating locations nationwide. The "pizza" is made with a heart-shaped double fudge brownie crust topped with the company's "Love Potion #31" ice cream.
• California Pizza Kitchen: If you're being health conscious, California Pizza Kitchen is the place for you. At CPK, you can order their cauliflower pizza crust on any pizza in place of the regular dough for no additional cost through Feb. 9.
