Whether they made school fun or simply helped you pass calculus, let it be known.
Great teachers are as unique as the children they teach. Some are stern, while others are playful. Some have decades of wisdom, while others have fresh enthusiasm for a career they are just embarking on. Each has their own way of motivating students to reach further, study harder, and most importantly, see new possibilities within themselves.
If you are a resident of Mendota Heights, Lilydale or Mendota and you or your child attends a local school, you are eligible to nominate your favorite teacher of 2010.
Post your nomination in the comment section below with the name of the great teacher in your life, where they teach, what they teach, and why you have chosen to recognize their work. Students are welcome to nominate a teacher directly.
