TWIN CITIES, MN — Heads up if you're traveling in the east metro. Northbound Highway 52 is shutdown between Eaton Street and Plato Boulevard as a result of a crash Friday afternoon. It's not yet clear when the highway will reopen.

If you can swing it, try to leave work early Friday, preferable before rush hour. An incoming snowstorm will drop several inches of snow in the metro this evening, with up to 4 inches in the south suburbs.
