MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— As more people adopted pets during the pandemic, a Mendota Heights dental supply company reaped the benefits.

CNBC reported that 33 percent of Americans considered getting a pet due to social distancing requirements. This number varied by age group, with 50 percent of millennials, 33 percent of Gen X, and 25 percent of Baby Boomers considering adoption or fostering, CNBC reported.

According to The Star Tribune, the trend has surprisingly spiked the earnings of Patterson Cos.
