Pet Licenses For Dogs End In Mendota Heights
Microchip technology is more effective, the city notes.
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — As of this year, the city of Mendota Heights is no longer issuing dog licenses. The city says dog licenses were ended because microchip technology installed by veterinarians has become commonplace and is more effective than the traditional metal licenses for reuniting owners with their lost pets.
