Re-Opening Date Delayed For Marie Park Playground

The opening date being pushed back is due to the city not receiving equipment for the park until early June.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN— The construction on Marie Park Playground has been delayed, the city of Mendota Heights said.

Due to a delay in receiving the equipment for the park, city officials now say the park will be finished by June 16, with the original finishing date being in mid-May or by June 1. The city will not receive the new equipment until around June 7, the city said.

The $133k redesign will double the size of the playground, adding features for all ages, the city said.
