Saint Thomas Academy Hires New Co-Head Wrestling Coach

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Saint Thomas Academy hired a new co-head wrestling coach.

Cole Konrad was an assistant coach for the Cadets during the 2020-21 school year and will now join Graydon Anderson as co-head coach, the school said.

Konrad also coached wrestling to preK-6 graders at St. Paul Wrestling Academy this past year, the school said. He also previously worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota and volunteered as assistant coach at Simley High School, the school said.

As a competitor, Konrad was:

• A four-time NCAA All-American
• A three-time Big Ten Champion
• A two-time NCAA Champion
• A Pan American Champion
• A US National Team Member
• A University World Bronze Medalist
• A Big Ten Jesse Owens Award winner
