Saint Thomas Academy Middle Schooler finishs 3rd in the State Championship of the National Geographic Bee

Saint Thomas Academy Middle School student Teddy Farrell '21, finished 3rd in the State Championship of the National Geographic Bee.

Teddy Farrell, an 8th grader at Saint Thomas Academy Middle School, finished third in the State Championship of the National Geographic Bee held at Minnesota State University Mankato last Friday. Farrell, who resides in Golden Valley, is Saint Thomas Academy’s highest finisher ever in its 20 years of competing in the Geo Bee.

The National Geographic Bee is an annual competition organized by the National Geographic Society, designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world. Students from 10,000 schools across the United States are competing in the 2017 National Geographic Bee for a chance to win college scholarships and the glory of being the National Geographic Bee Champion.
