Whether it's cocktail weenies in BBQ sauce or mini apple pie tarts, I love it all from simple to lavish.

What to dish out for the big game is an opportunity to flex a little creativity in the kitchen. I mean, who knew there were so many ways to make dip?

Danielle's (Unscientific) Rules for Super Bowl Food Stardom:

1.) Make it easy to eat

Waving a steak knife in the air after a touchdown is ill-advised.

2.) Use familiar-flavor favorites

I hate to say it, but the Super Bowl is not the time to impress the neighbors with your mango-curry chutney or masterful preparation of sweetbreads.

3.) Run the option

Make sure there's at least one hearty vegetarian snack (not just celery and carrot sticks) and one low-cal option for your guests. Just because you're prepared to down two pounds of ground beef doesn't mean that was the plan for everyone else.
