Summer Jobs Available In Mendota Heights

The seasonal positions are for summer 2021 and could possibly be affected by the pandemic.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN—The city of Mendota Heights has announced that it is currently hiring for summer 2021 seasonal positions.

The seasonal positions include:

  • Public Works Maintenance Worker
  • Tennis Instructor
  • Tennis Assistant
  • Golf Clubhouse Worker
  • Golf Instructor
  • Golf Assistant
  • Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Cheryl Jacobson told Patch that the pandemic will "possibly" affect job openings and the opening of these facilities.

"We are still under executive order as far as outdoor recreational programming and venues go," Jacobson told Patch. "We will react when (these facilities) are ready to open and see what executive orders and regulations are in play at that time."

Jacobson expects these facilities to open and operate under regulations just as they did last summer.

"We were able to open last summer, so we are assuming that once the weather turns and folks are able to get outside that we will be able to open with the assumption that we will be under similar guidance and restrictions that we were last year," Jacobson said.
