These Are The Minnesota Newspapers We Lost In 2019
A number of beloved Minnesota publications were forced to close their doors this year.
MINNESOTA — The year of 2019 was a tough one for small town and niche newspapers in Minnesota. More than a dozen publications have been forced to end production due to declining ad revenue and subscribers.
Notably, the Warroad Pioneer ceased publication after 121 years of operation in the small northern Minnesota town.
In the Twin Cities, the east metro papers have been hit particularly hard.
