EXPIRED: Tornado Watch in Effect for Dakota County

The Mendota Heights area is under a tornado watch until 1 a.m.

The Mendota Heights area is under a tornado watch issued by the National Weather Service through 1 a.m.

Residents of Dakota County, as well as Hennepin and Ramsey, are advised to review tornado safety procedures. 

A hazardous weather outlook also issued for the region has predicted a slight risk of hail and strong winds to accompany thunderstorms tonight.
