TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect a warmup this weekend as sunny skies and highs in the 70s make their way over the Twin Cities metro. The National Weather Service forecasts a patchy drizzle of rain Saturday morning, but the remainder of Saturday and all of Sunday should be dry.
Tonight: Patchy drizzle after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Saturday: Patchy drizzle before 1:00 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 68. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 49. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Light east wind becoming east southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Sunday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 1:00 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
