Video: Warriors Dance Team Dabbles in Magic

The  dance team is now ranked second in the Classic Suburban Conference, having a number of conference and invitational meets behind them in the 2011-2012 season.

Conference championships are Thursday, Dec. 22 at Hill-Murray High School.

The Warriors' jazz and kick routines have come within striking distance against conference and metro competition. The jazz squad dances to a Beyonce medley, while the high kickers dance to a magic-themed medley, complete with Hogwarts-themed attire.

• In a conference meet Dec. 13 hosted by South St. Paul High School, varsity kick placed first in their group and first overall. JV kick also placed first.
• Warriors jazz placed third at Lakeville North's invitational Saturday, Dec. 10. B-squad jazz took home first place honors; JV jazz placed third place; varsity jazz placed third place and varsity kick took home fourth place.
• Varsity kick placed first at a Classic Suburban Conference kick meet at Richfield High School Dec. 6. 
• JV kick placed fourth and varsity kick placed fourth at the Chaska Invitational Dec. 3.
• Varsity jazz placed third at a Classic Suburban Conference jazz meet at Henry Sibley on Nov. 29. 
• The season kicked off with a for Varsity jazz at a conference meet at Simley High School. Simley is the conference leader.
