2 Injured In Blast At Industrial Building
An explosion and fire occurred at the Metal-Matic plant in the 600 block of 2nd St SE late Wednesday afternoon.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN - An explosion and fire at the Metal-Matic plant in the 600 block of 2nd St SE injured two people on Wednesday afternoon. The company makes carbon steel tubes.
Two people were taken to a hospital with significant injuries, according to a tweet from the Minneapolis Fire Department. All other employees evacuated the building safely.
No firefighters were hurt. The cause is under investigation.
