East Lake Library September Construction Update

Remediation progress continues at East Lake Library. Current work includes:

• Removal of plywood boarding and replacement of broken glass (exterior and interior)
• Start-up and troubleshooting with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Starting the installation of the acoustic ceiling tile replacements

Upcoming work in the next few weeks includes:

• Partial repainting of selected fire-damaged ceilings and walls
• Removal of existing damaged flooring
• Completion of troubleshooting building systems: HVAC, fire alarm, security, etc.
• Selection and procurement of replacement carpets and fabrics
• Selection and procurement of furnishings replacements (chairs, table bases, lounge furniture, etc.)
