After wins against Big Ten rivals Purdue, Northwestern, and Ohio State, the Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball team is turning the heads of sports analysts across the nation. With the team's confidence brimming, Gophers freshman Amir Coffey lead the way as Minnesota secured a 78-68 home victory over Ohio State Sunday night.
With last night's win, the Gophers were vaulted into the top 25 teams in the Associated Press college basketball poll.
Minnesota will hit the road for their rematch against Michigan State Wednesday (11-6, 3-1).
