Infant Carriers Sold At Target Recalled Due To Child Fall Hazard

The buckles on the recalled carriers can break, causing the child to fall out.

MINNEAPOLIS — A brand of infant and toddler carriers sold at Target, Amazon, and elsewhere are being recalled due to the risk that the child could fall out. The recall affects an estimated 14,000 Infantino carriers.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the buckles on the following carriers can break, posing a fall hazard:

  • Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0619
  • Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719
  • Flip Front2back Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719
  • Up Close Newborn Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719

Target and Amazon sold the products between November 2019 and December 2019 for $30 and $50. Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the recalled carriers and contact Infantino to receive a free replacement.
