Adult Sports

Flag Football

When: Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, late August-early November
Where: Parade Stadium or Elliot Park
Leagues: Women’s Wednesdays, Open (no gender requirements) Mondays and Thursdays
Season: Eight games scheduled
Cost: $495

Indoor Volleyball

When: Sundays-Thursdays, late September-December
Where: Armatage, Bottineau, Harrison, Luxton, MLK, Nokomis, Northeast, Van Cleve, Whittier, Windom NE
Leagues: Co-Ed Sundays-Thursdays, Open Sundays, Women’s Thursdays
Season: Ten weeks of play, including tournament
Cost: $385

Kickball

When: Sundays-Thursdays, August-September
Where: Bossen, Bryn Mawr, Nokomis, Northeast
Leagues: Co-Ed only
Season: Nine games scheduled
Cost: $325

Outdoor Soccer

When: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, August-October
Where: Elliot, Neiman, Parade
Leagues: Co-Ed and Open (6-on-6 and 11-on-11 leagues available)
Season: Nine games scheduled, including post-season tournament
Cost: $710 6-on-6; $1,065 11-on-11

Tennis Lessons

When: Sunday-Thursday, August-September
Where: Armatage, Kenny, Kenwood, Lake Hiawatha, Logan, Lynnhurst, MLK, Powderhorn, Waite
Leagues: Beginner (comes with free racket), Advanced Beginner, Drill and Play
Seasons: Four weeks of one-hour lessons; Drill and Play is 90 minutes.
Cost: $70

Softball

Co-ed Session 1

When: Sundays-Thursdays, August-September
Where: Bossen, Bryn Mawr, Carew Field, Northeast
Seasons: Five-week doubleheaders, Competitive and Recreation levels available
Cost: $385 non-lit fields; $450 lit fields

Co-ed Session 2

When: Sundays-Thursdays, September-October
Where: Bossen, Bryn Mawr, Northeast
Seasons: Four-week doubleheaders
Cost: $290

Men’s Session 1

When: Mondays-Thursdays, August-September
Where: Bossen, Bryn Mawr, Marshall Terrace, Northeast,
Seasons: Five-week doubleheaders
Cost: $385 non-lit fields; $450 lit fields

Men’s Session 2

When: Mondays-Thursdays, September-October
Where: Bossen, Bryn Mawr, Northeast
Seasons: Four-week doubleheaders
Cost: $290

Open League

No gender requirements, all players welcome

When: Tuesdays, August-October
Where: Bryn Mawr
Seasons: Eight weeks single games
Cost: $335

Register as a Free Agent

Are you an individual looking to get placed on a team? Register as a Free Agent. Your information will be passed along to teams needing players. If enough individuals register, an attempt will be made to organize a team from the Free Agent list.

Sport Leagues include Indoor Volleyball, Soccer, Softball, Kickball and Flag Football. If you want to be included on more than one free agent list, you must register for each sport individually.

Officials Needed!

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is always looking to hire more officials for any of the sports listed above! Earn extra cash and stay involved in the sports you love!

Recreation Fee Assistance

Minneapolis residents who cannot afford instructional fees because of economic need may apply for fee assistance through the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Fee Assistance Program.
