Minneapolis Police Department Reports Man Dies Following Crash
Police arrived on the scene and located a single car with substantial damage occupied by an adult male in critical condition.

February 26, 2021 (MINNEAPOLIS) – At 1:27 am Friday morning, Minneapolis Police and Fire Departments responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries on the 2600 Block of Cedar Avenue South.

Police arrived on the scene and located a single car with substantial damage occupied by an adult male in critical condition. He was transported to Hennepin Healthcare where he died a short time later.
At this time, very little is known about what led up to the crash. The Minneapolis Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit responded to the scene along with the Crime Lab to reconstruct the crash and collect evidence.

The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim, along with the nature and cause of death in the days to come.
