Minneapolis Weekend Weather: Sunny Days, Chilly Nights Ahead

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Mostly sunny skies and temperatures ranging between 30 and 56 degrees are expected this weekend in Minneapolis, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the NWS, the weekend will kick off with a sunny day on Friday with temperatures climbing around to 45 degrees. A northern wind around 5 mph is possible throughout the day.

Temperatures will drop to around 30 degrees Friday night. On Saturday, sunny skies will again prevail as temperatures climb to around 56 degrees. A calm northwest wind is possible in the afternoon.

Clouds will move into the forecast Saturday night as temperatures drop to a low of 36 degrees.

On Sunday, skies will be mostly cloudy a high temperature around 48 degrees.

Rain and snow enter the forecast Sunday night as temperatures drop to around 30 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of precipitation and snow possible after 2 a.m.

Snow continues before 11 a.m. on Monday before giving way to a chance of rain. Temperatures will climb to a high near 43 degrees.
