More than 57,700 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,629 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

The figures reported Wednesday include 629 new cases and nine deaths.
Approximately 1,090,303 tests have been completed. As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, 303 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 152 of them in intensive care units.

Of the 57,779 people who have tested positive, 51,223 no longer need to be isolated.
