Minnesota Weather: 2-3 Inches of Snow, Icy Roads this Week

A winter weather advisory is in effect in the Twin Cities from midnight Monday to midnight Tuesday. Expect a wintry mix to develop around midnight and then diminish around 6 p.m. Monday. Total snow accumulations of up to 2 inches and ice accumulations of a glaze are expected.
Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute on Monday. Snow accumulations will increase with progression northward. Cold temperatures will return for the last half of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow likely, mainly after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 33. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
