Minnesota Weather: Arctic Air Mass to Settle Across Region

An arctic air mass will settle across the region through Saturday. A wind chill advisory is in effect through Wednesday morning.

Wind chills of 20 to 35 below are expected Wednesday night, and each night through Saturday morning.

Highs will be within a few degrees of zero Wednesday and Thursday with a modest warming trend by the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

A few clouds later Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will provide a chance of snow flurries.

Icy road conditions the past 24 hours have contributed to many crashes and spinouts, making travel very difficult for motorists.

The Minnesota State Patrol urges all motorists to take precautions during weather events and throughout the winter.
