Minnesota Weather: Temps Fall as Arctic Air Rushes In

By Tuesday night, temperatures will fall below zero with wind chill values averaging between 20 to 30 below zero.​

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Temperatures will continue to fall Tuesday morning as arctic air rushes across the state. By the afternoon, temperatures will have fallen into the single digits in the west and central part of Minnesota, to the teens in western Wisconsin.

By Tuesday night, temperatures will fall below zero with wind chill values averaging between 20 to 30 below zero, according to the National Weather Service.

A total of 66 trucks went out at 2 a.m. in Hennepin County to clear snow from roads and to lay salt. Crashes and spin outs have begun to mount across the state. State officials are advising against travel in northwestern Minnesota.
