Minnesota Weather: 2nd Snow Blast Hits Wednesday Commuters
Minnesota's snowy highways Tuesday saw 375 crashes. With more snow arriving Wednesday, allow plenty of time for any travel in the metro.

For the second day in a row, a fast moving weather system is bringing several inches of snow this morning to the Twin Cities metropolitan area. A winter weather advisory has been issued for the region until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday.
With continued snowy and icy road conditions, allow plenty of time for any travel Wednesday.
MSP reported that between 5 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, state highways saw 375 crashes (37 injured, 3 fatal) and 453 vehicle spin-out/off road incidents.

Among the fatalities was a 16-year-old girl who was killed in a collision with a sheriff deputy in Itasca County.


Temperatures will fall and remain cold for the end of the week, with next week looking significantly warmer.
