Minnesota Weekend Weather: Expect Storms And Rain
Clouds will dominate the skies this weekend, with rain and storms possible throughout.

TWIN CITIES, MN -- Rain and thunderstorms will dominate the weather this weekend in the Twin Cities area. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area, saying that scattered thunderstorms are possible for much of the area throughout the weekend.
"Though the chances for severe weather for the vast majority of the coverage area remain low, there is a marginal risk of severe weather in southern Minnesota," the National Weather Service says. Scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the week.
The weekend is expected to be warm, with highs ranging between the 80's and the high 60's. Light winds will accompany a chance of storms throughout the weekend.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
