The general contractor for the North Regional Library renovation project, Shaw-Lundquist Associates, began demolition and construction work in late March.

Temporary site
Along with all other Hennepin County library buildings, the North Regional Library temporary site at 1200 Plymouth Ave. N. remains closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Library staff are preparing for a safe, phased return to in-person services, and details will be announced when known.
