Northfield Weekend Weather: Sunny Days, Chilly Nights Ahead

Patchy freezing fog is possible early Friday morning.

NORTHFIELD, MN — Mostly sunny skies and temperatures ranging between 28 and 54 degrees are expected this weekend in Northfield, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the NWS, the weekend will kick off with patchy freezing fog between 3 and 5 a.m. on Friday morning before giving way to sunny skies with temperatures climbing around to 44 degrees. A northern wind around 5 mph is possible throughout the day.

Temperatures will drop to around 28 degrees Friday night. On Saturday, sunny skies will again prevail as temperatures climb to around 54 degrees. A calm southern wind is possible in the afternoon.

Clouds will move into the forecast Saturday night as temperatures drop to a low of 35 degrees.

On Sunday, skies will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain and a high temperature around 47 degrees.
