TWIN CITIES, MN — Niche compiled its 2020 "best school districts" list based on data from the U.S. Department of Education. The rankings factor state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, among other metrics.

The rankings, however, do not account for the changes in education model made amid the coronavirus pandemic.
