2019 Construction Projects In Minnetonka

From the City of Minnetonka: Each year, the city rehabilitates streets and utilities to continually update and improve our infrastructure. Below is a list of 2019 street, trail and utility projects. Follow the links for more details or to subscribe for project updates.

• Ridgedale Drive Improvements - Two-year project beginning in 2019 to improve the road, utilities, traffic flow and walkability along Ridgedale Drive between Plymouth Road and I-394. Ridgedale Center and surrounding businesses will be open and accessible during construction.
• Carlson Parkway Improvements - Pavement and intersection improvements between Oakland Road and Twelve Oaks Center Drive.
• 2019 Mill and Overlay Project - Resurfacing and spot improvements of Highland Road and Scenic Heights Drive.
• Plymouth Road Trail Project - Completion of a two-year project to add a new trail along Plymouth Road from the Ridgedale area to Minnetonka Boulevard.
• Minnetonka Boulevard Sewer Project - Completion of a two-year project install a secondary forcemain (pressure sewer pipe) along Minnetonka Boulevard and Minnetonka Drive.
• Guilliam’s Field Park Junction Box Project - Replacement of the junction box – which connects sanitary sewer pipes – with a new structure both above and below ground to improve access and safety.
