Homicide Investigation Underway in Death of Minnesota Girl
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Minnesota girl who went missing Saturday.

The Amber Alert for a missing Minnesota girl was canceled Saturday night when her body was discovered in Cass County.
The Meeker County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the body of Alayna Ertl, 5, was found and the case is now a homicide investigation.

The Pioneer Press reported that Anderson is a friend of Ertl’s family and had spent the night at their house in Watkins.
The Amber Alert was sent out Saturday afternoon stating that Ertl had gone missing and was last seen in Watkins, Minnesota at 2:00 a.m. According to the Star Tribune, authorities later found Ertl’s body in Cass County near Motley, Minnesota.
