Do you want to make a positive impact in our community and get involved in local government? Apply to serve on a board or commission, including our new sustainability commission!

Sustainability commission

This new commission will further the city’s efforts to protect and preserve the environment by reviewing and providing input on sustainability issues, acting as a sustainability ambassador to the community and serving as a resource for existing city advisory groups. The commission will meet monthly or bi-monthly on a weekday evening at City Hall.

We’re seeking Minnetonka residents to serve on the commission and fill the following openings:

• Five adult members
• Two young adult members under 25 years old, one of which must attend Minnetonka, Hopkins or Wayzata High School
• Two additional members from the park board and planning commission
